About me...

I was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL, and realized a love for history at an early age. As a first generation college student, being able to pursue my Bachelor's degree at UCF has been such a privilege, and my time at University has opened my eyes to the historical events and eras I'm most interested in researching, including the social movements of the 1960's, Naval Warfare in World War II, the American Civil War and the Kennedy administration. My identity as a gay man has a profound influence on my desire to research history, and I strive in my work to center and uplift narratives that have for too long gone unnoticed and untold.
